Adam Frederick Carter

Adam F. Carter of Kalamazoo,Passed away Friday, February 6, 2015 at Borgess Medical Center. Adam was born July 24, 1983 in Kalamazoo the son of Ric and Terri (Frederick) Carter. Adam was a 2001 graduate of Gull Lake High School. He was well known in the community as an actor, director, producer and cosmetologist. Adam was active in independent films, many theatre troupes and a member of Crawspace Eviction and improv duo T&A. He also taught many different school programs. He was most recently the Master of Ceremonies for events at the Alamo Draft House. Surviving are his mother, Terri (William) Pelfresne of Kalamazoo; father, Ric (Connie) Carter of Mendon; sister, Kara Pelfresne of Kalamazoo; maternal grandparents, Deane and Sue Frederick of Kalamazoo; paternal grandmother, Fay Jones of Dewitt. Friends are being received 5-8pm, Friday, February 13, 2015 at Redmond Funeral Home, Kalamazoo. Funeral services will be held 10:30 Saturday at the State Theatre, 404 S. Burdick St. Kalamazoo. Interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo. www.redmondfuneralhomes.net
