Laura Marie Havard

God called an angel home on January 20 when Laura Marie Havard passed away at her home in Lake City, Florida. She was born Laura Marie Poe to father Jesse L Poe and mother Irene G Royal in Hart, Michigan on November 11, 1928. She married Joe Crawford and worked at the Kalamazoo County Treasurer’s office. After Joe passed away Laura married Jessie Havard and retired to Florida. In addition to her father, mother and Joe, Laura was preceded in death by her sisters Freida Husband and Ruth Kinsey. She is survived by her husband Jessie Havard, two sons, Dennis (Marge) Havard and Larry (Cindy) Havard, five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Laura will be laid to rest next to Joe Crawford at Mt. Ever Rest Memorial Park on January 27. A viewing is available from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at Redmond Funeral Home followed by a short service at Mt Ever Rest at 3:00 pm.
