Margaret May Woolsey

Margaret M. Woolsey of Kalamazoo, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Tendercare Westwood. Margaret was born October 13, 1920 in Kalamazoo the daughter of Alfred and Adrianna (Varr) Brinkert. She was a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church and will be remembered for always being happy and enjoying life, she always laughed, loved her family and enjoyed dancing. On June 1, 1940 in Kalamazoo Margaret was united in marriage to Don Woolsey who preceded her in death in 2001, also preceding her was her son Marty in 1976. Surviving are two sons, Doug (Anne Marie) Woolsey of Scottsdale, AZ, Don (Sherry) Woolsey of Boise, ID; two daughters, Linda (Jim) Patterson of Birmingham, AL, Donna (Phil) Smith of Kalamazoo; brother, Sonny Brinkert of Kalamazoo; nine grandchildren, Mike (Rosie), Mark (Shawn), Jeff (Kathy), Ron (Tammy), Beth Ann, Stacy (Ray), John, Joe (Allison), Jeanie; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-granddaughters. Private graveside services will be held at Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Southern Care Hospice. Arrangements by Redmond Funeral Home, 4100 S.
