Virginia S. Prough of Kalamazoo, passed away Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Tendercare Westwood. Virginia was born February 20, 1915 in Lolland, Denmark the daughter of Albert and Anastasia (Gowron) Doroz. She attended Kalamazoo Public Schools, enjoyed music, dancing, card games, crafts and bowling with friends. She is survived by a nephew, Jim (Dixie) Tibbitts of Mattawan. She was preceded in death by two brothers. Friends are being received Tuesday 2-3 pm at Redmond Funeral Home, 4100 S. Westnedge Ave. Kalamazoo, MI 49008 (269) 343-6156. Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 3 pm at Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Southern Care Hospice. www.redmondfuneralhomes.net
