Ashley Morgan Melson

Ashley Morgan Melson of Kalamazoo, passed away Tuesday Nov. 18, 2014 from injuries suffered in a car/train accident. Ashley was born Oct. 12, 1994 in Kalamazoo the daughter of Tyler Fettes and Jolene Melson. She was a 2014 graduate of Comstock High School and was employed by the Salvation Army Thrift Store. Ashley is survived by her father, Tyler Fettes; mother Jolene (Bob) Reed; brother, Bobby Reed; four sisters, Stephanie McMullen; Haylee Fettes; Britney (Christopher) Boothe; Ashley Lown; maternal grandparents, Carol Melson, Gary (Barb) Campbell, Jim (Phyllis) Carlin; paternal grandparents, Jeanne Fettes, David and Sandra Fettes; maternal great-grandparents, Peg and Richard Carlin; paternal great-grandparents, Gene and Shirley Weeks; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends are being received Friday, Nov. 28, 2014 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Redmond Funeral Home. Services will be held Saturday Nov. 29, 2014 at 3 pm at First United Methodist Church, Kalamazoo.
