Alfons (Tex) Romans Videnieks, Sr.

Alfons (Tex) Videnieks, born December 21, 1941 the son of Vilis and Emma (Henkhuzens) Videnieks. He was preceded in death by one son and one grandson. Tex passed away at home in the loving care Susan Volenski (fiancee), son Jay (Amber) Whipple, and daughter Debby (Lee) Duryea. He is also survived by daughters, Angelina (Pat) Clark, Tammie Walker, Terrie Prosser, and Tracie (Randy) Willett; sons Alfons Videnieks Jr. and Frank Volenski; brother Heinrich Videnieks; Sister, Regina Clarke; nephew, Brian Clarke; 25 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren. He will be missed by many long time friends who loved him. All of his life he loved riding his motorcycles. He went to the blessing of the bikes and Sturgis Toy Run every year. He was always a free spirit. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan. Friends are being received Monday, November 17 11am to 1pm at Kalamazoo Free Methodist Church, 931 W. Maple St. where services will be held at 1pm. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery.
