Martha Osmer

Passed away at home Monday, November 3, 2014. Martha was born in Kalamazoo on April 17, 1936 the daughter of George and Barbara (Behnke) Osmer. She was a lifetime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was known for her love of cats, dogs, and birds. Martha worked for Kalamazoo Savings and Loan as the Parchment Branch Manager. Martha was an 18 year volunteer for Renaissance Enterprises which is an area non-profit that brings music and the arts into local nursing homes. She was preceded in death by her parents and step-brother Lyall Stafford. She is survived by her step-sisters Mary Ann (Bernard) Steffler and Jeanie Stafford; and her best friend Bob Rowe. A memorial mass was held at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Inurnment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Renaissance Enterprises or St. Joseph Catholic Church.
