James Clyde Raymond

RAYMOND, James C. Kalamazoo Passed away Friday, September 05, 2014 at Kairos Dwelling. James was born September 22, 1926 in Kalamazoo County, the son of Walter and Mary (Hawkins) Raymond. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran during WWII and a U.S. Army Veteran serving in the Korean War. Raymond was a retired real estate broker for Century 21 and then Raymond Real Estate. He was a member of the Comstock VFW Post #6252. Surviving are a daughter, Vickie Oakes of Bradenton, FL; son, James Raymond of Nashville, MI; sister, Evelyn Little of California; two grandchildren; 2 great-great grandsons; special friend Helen Goolsby of Kalamazoo. Graveside services will be held 10 am Tuesday at Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Comstock VFW Post.
