Edward Kudwa of Kalamazoo, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at home surrounded by his family. Edward was born February 14, 1924 in Crystal Falls to George and Mary (Ekert) Kudwa Edward was united in marriage to Dolores Gordon on February 21, 1950. Edward was a member of St Monica Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus . He is preceded in death by his wife, Dolores; sisters, Ernestine, Nellie, Mary, Helen, and Rose; brothers, Lewis, John, Frank, George, and Chester Kudwa. Surviving are daughters, Kathleen Pesmark of Portage and Debora (Michael) Sweeney of Portage; son, Charles (Kathleen) Kudwa of East Tawas ; and sisters Margaret Caron and Alice Tishkin. Friends and family will be received on Sunday, June 29 from 5-8 pm with a rosary at 7pm at Redmond Funeral Home, 4100 S.
