Frances Barbara Hamilton-Shaw

Frances Barbara Hamilton-Shaw of Kalamazoo passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at home surrounded by her family. Frances was born March 27, 1926 in Grand Rapids to Rowland and Bernice (Miller) Eldred. Frances was the owner of Superior Dry Cleaners in Kalamazoo. She also worked as a ballroom dance instructor for over 30 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Shaw ; sister, Marie Mumpower; and brothers, Clifford and Raleigh Eldred. Surviving are daughter, Shari Olson of Kalamazoo; son, Rex Hamilton & wife Marilyn of Windsor, ON ; Grandchildren, Andrea Olson Urbanek & husband Jens Urbanek, Thomas Kelly Olson & wife Hilary Stratton, Rex Hamilton III & wife Wendy, Schonie Hamilton & husband Brock Savage, and Erin Pidhoresky & husband Steve; great-grandchildren, Cally Olson Urbanek, Kai Urbanek, Ryland Savage, Chloe Hamilton, Alyson, Eva, and David Pidhoresky.
