Thomas Arthur Redmond

Thomas A. Redmond of Grand Rapids, passed away Saturday June 7, 2014 at home. Tom was born May 8, 1929 in Kalamazoo the son of Albert and Katherine (VanDixHorn) Redmond. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Serving during the Korean War. Tom was the owner of the Wheeler-Blaney Plumbing & Heating before his retirement. He was preceded in death by a brother, William Redmond; sister, Gerry Servaas; niece, Jane Redmond. He is survived by a sister-in-law, Barbara Redmond; 2 nephews, Steve Servaas, William Redmond, Jr; niece, Kathy Ford; great nephews, Jeff Ford, Michael Redmond; great nieces, Julie (Pat) McMullen and Spice their dog, Jeannie Servaas, Katie Redmond, Colleen Redmond, Maureen Redmond, Special thank you to Robin Walker (Charlie her dog) & Deanie Host; and several great-great nieces & nephews. A family graveside service will be held Tuesday June 10, 2014 at Riverside Cemetery, Kalamazoo. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society or the NRA.
