Frank G. Jancarz of Kalamazoo, passed away Monday, May 26, 2014 at home. Frank was born July 16, 1927 in Kalamazoo the son of Wincinty and Anna (Magierka) Jancarz Frank was a pipe fitter for Johnson Controls before retirement. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Council # 1616, and Plumbers & Pipefitters Local #357. Frank enjoyed his dogs, fishing, and gardening and in his younger years was an avid golfer. On Jan. 19, 1952 in Kalamazoo Frank was united in marriage to the former Betty Jean Brown who preceded him in death on Jan. 9, 2000. Surviving are 2 sons, Mike (Eileen) Jancarz of Vicksburg, Ken (Lorrie) Jancarz of Vicksburg; 1 daughter, Christine Jancarz of Kalamazoo; granddaughter, Bridget Jancarz; 3 great-grandchildren, Connor, Kraig, and Krista Jarrell. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter Deanna Jarrell; 2 brothers, Joe & John; 3 sisters, Lucia, Katy & Anna. Friends will be received Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8 pm with a rosary at 7pm at the Parchment Redmond Funeral Home, 2300 East “G” Ave. Parchment, MI 49004, (269) 349-7735. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday 10 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, with Rev. Fr. David Grondz, Celebrant. Interment will be in Ft. Custer National Cemetery.
