Arthur E. Losey

Arthur E. Losey of Kalamazoo, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2014. Arthur was born May 20, 1928 in Grand Rapids, MI to Arthur H. and Margaret Losey. An Army veteran, he was retired from Gull Lake Marine Center where he enjoyed restoring old wooden Chris Craft boats. Also in his spare time he enjoyed antique and classic autos. A fan of hockey, he loved to keep the ice groomed with the Zamboni for the Kalamazoo Wing’s hockey team. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Kenneth. He is survived by his step-mother (Dorothy Losey), a daughter Sheila M. (James) Auvil, a son Gary J. (Shelly) Losey, five grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. A private burial will be held at Mount Ever-Rest Memorial Park. A Memorial service will be held at Southridge Reformed church, 6726 Texas Drive, in Kalamazoo on Friday, April 25th at 2:00 with visitation beginning at 1:00.
