Roberta Bauer Lopez

Roberta Bauer Lopez of Cooper Township,passed away Sunday, March 23, 2014 at the Sojourner House. Roberta was born May 28, 1921 the daughter of John and Nettie (Kuenzel) Bauer. She was united in marriage to Herman Lopez who preceded her in death. She attended UCLA and Pepperdine University and later went on to teach special education. She loved to travel and see the world. Surviving is her step-daughter, Marguerita Lopez of California; step-son, Victor (Alicia) Lopez of Indiana; 3 grandchildren; sister, Donna Hansen of Kalamazoo; 2 nieces & 3 nephews; and several grandnieces and grandnephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Marilyn Bauer; brother, Arlan Bauer; and step-son, Edward Lopez. Friends and Family will be received on Saturday, March 29 at 10am at Rosedale Cemetery Chapel in Standale, MI, services will be held at 11am, with Pastor Keith Lohman, officiating.
