Adelia Maxine Swabash

Adelia M. Swabash of Kalamazoo, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2014 in Kalamazoo. Adelia was born August 5, 1929 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Herbert and Hazel (Firestone) Brown. she was a member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church. Adelia was united in marriage to Steven Swabash on April 22, 1949 in Kalamzoo, he preceded her in death on August 15, 2006. She was preceded in death by her brothers James & Robert Brown Surviving are 2 daughters, Susan (James) Manifold, Mary-Frances (Michael) Oliphant ; 3 Sons, Howard (Julie) Swabash, Joseph (Lisa) Swabash, Thomas (Martha) Swabash; 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Friends and family will be received for visitation on Friday, March 21 from 6:00-8:00pm with a rosary at 7:30 at the Redmond Funeral Home, 4100 S. Westnedge Ave. Kalamazoo, MI 49008 (269) 343-6156.
