Patsy Louise Shevitski

Patsy L. Shevitski of Kalamazoo crossed over peacefully in her sleep on March 15, 2014. She was born February 6, 1954 in Kalamazoo the daughter of Raymond and Emma (Short) Blevins. Surviving are 2 sons, Derek Parker, Jeff Adkins; daughter Glenda Shevitski; 2 grandsons, Elijah and Eric; life partner, John Hunter; 2 sisters, Della Stewart and Pamela Hard. Patsy deeply cherished her nieces and nephews and their children. Everyone loved "Aunt Patsy", she would literally give a complete stranger the shirt off her back, with this kind of care and unconditional concern she positively touched many lives. Just know she will still always be watching over all of her friends and family and wouldn't be a surprise if she still calls you to talk your head off, if nothing more than to tell you she loves you and to be careful. She will be greatly missed peace is now finally yours Patsy. A private family service will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to Michigan Make A Wish Foundation.
