Reva Marie Redmond

Reva M. Redmond of Portage, passed away Monday March 3, 2014 at Tendercare of Portage. Reva was born February 6, 1931 in Windsor, Ontario the daughter of Arthur and Lucile (Reva) Redmond. She retired as an administrative assistant from the UpJohn Co. Reva was very proud of her administrative professional career of 25+ years with The Upjohn Company, Bishop Bennison and Bishop Donovan. She was an active board and committee member of the Kalamazoo Chapter of International Association of Administrative Professionals. Surviving are a daughter Anne (Cornelius) Nieuwenhuis of Kalamazoo; son Steven (Bonnie) Marion of Caledonia; sister, Irene Bennett of Hartford City, IN; 3 brothers, Thomas (Sue) Redmond of Gobles, Robert (Bonnie) Redmond of Port Charlotte, Florida, Louis (Elaine) Redmond of Dearborn; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Melodie Marion of Evansville, IN; sister-in-law, Barbara Redmond of Kalamazoo. She was preceded in death by a son, David Marion in 2012; brother Arthur Redmond in 2008. In lieu of flowers, those that wish, may make contributions to the Kalamazoo Chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals, IAAP, c/o the Redmond funeral home. Friends will be received Saturday 11 to 12 at the Redmond Funeral Home, 4100 S. Westnedge Ave. Kalamazoo, MI 49008 (269) 343-6156, where services will be held at 12 Noon, with Rev. Fr.
