Clyde Frederick Kirk Jr. of Kalamazoo passed away Saturday, January 11, 2014 at home. Clyde was born November 20, 1940 in Kalamazoo the son of Clyde and Ada (Hulet) Kirk. Clyde was an avid Tigers and U of M fan. He loved helping others and spending time with his grand kids. He was well known for his personality and sense of humor. He retired from James River and Eaton Manufacturing. He is survived by his son, James (Wendy) Kirk of Wesley Chapel, FL; 3 daughters, Elizabeth Ireland of Kalamazoo, Jennifer (Karl) Miller of Kalamazoo, and Jodi Trantham of Delton; 1 brother, Robert (Sandy) Kirk; 5 sisters, Pauline (Louis) Willard, Nancy (Forrest) Garrison, Kay (Keegan) & John Thomasma, Carol (Dick) Breese, Sharon (Phillip) Keegan; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by Father and Mother, Clyde S. and Ada Kirk, 1 sisters, Elaine McDonald; 1 son-in-law, Jeff Ireland. Memorial donations can be made to Reverence Hospice.
