Elaz C. Tice

February 17, 1924 — January 6, 2014

Elza Tice formerly of Cooper Twp. passed away Monday, Jan. 6, 2014 at Tendercare Portage. Elza was born Feb. 17, 1924 in Stonefort, IL the son of Elza and Sadie (Barnette) Tice. He was a member of Ravine Road Baptist Church and the Teamsters Union. Elza retired as a truck driver for National Food. On May 13, 1989 in Comstock he was united in marriage to the former Frances (Willis) Locker who survives. Also surviving is a brother, William (Erma) Tice of Plainwell and 15 stepchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 2 pm at the Ravine Road Baptist Church with reception luncheon to follow. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Assoc. or the American Diabetes Assoc.
