Miyoko Trevan

Miyoko Trevan, 86 of Kalamazoo passed away Monday December 23, 2013 at home. Miyoko was born, May 21, 1927n Saitama Ken, Japan the daughter of Haruya and Famiyo Naka. She retired from Tyson Foods and she enjoyed knitting, crocheting and she made hats and blankets for premature and bereavement at Bronson Hospital. On July 12, 1957 in Tokyo, Japan Miyoko was united in marriage to Lorenzo Trevan who preceded her in death on October 31, 1982. Surviving are a son, Kenichi (Brenda) Trevan of Ionia; daughter, Iola Goldie (Michael) Nicholas of Kalamazoo; 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 18 , 2013 at the Luella Collins Community Center in Shelbyville, MI.
