Mollie A. Glover of Kalamazoo, passed away Thursday December 5, 2013 at the Laurel’s of Galesburg. Mollie was born September 16, 1918 in Shelbyville the daughter of Phillip and Pauline (Vlastile) Opatik. Molly owned and operated the Village Inn Tavern in Portage for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth, a daughter Carol Homes and 13 siblings. Surviving are 2 sons, Joseph (Mary) Glover of Kalamazoo, Gary Glover of Boston, MA; sister Pauline of Kalamazoo; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Tuesday 1:30 pm at the Parchment Redmond Funeral Home, 2300 East “G” Ave. Parchment, MI 49004, (269) 349-7735.
