Janet E. Pawlowski

Janet E. Pawlowski of Kalamazoo, passed away Monday, November 25, 2013. Janet was born on August 6, 1926 in Battle Creek, MI the daughter of Edward and Anna (Moyer) Ferguson. She was employed at the J.C. Penney Company and worked in food service for the Kalamazoo Public schools and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Stanley Pawlowski on May 19, 2013, a brother, Russell Ferguson; 4 sisters, VIginia Olsen, Clelia Hunter, Phyllis Jay and Lois Machinski. She is survived by 2 sons; Stephen (Lauren) Pawlowski of Gobles, Paul Pawlowski of Kalamazoo; 2 daughters, Gail (Andrew) Lipsey of Kalamazoo and Nancy (Jerry) Seaman of Georgia; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter. Friends are being received Monday December 2, 2013 at St. Mary's Catholic Church from 9-10 AM where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM with Rev. Fr. David Grondz, Celebrant. There will not be a luncheon. Interment will be at Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice.
