Marjorie E. McCreery of Kalamamzoo, passed away Sunday October 27, 2013 at Countryside Nursing Home in South Haven. Marjorie was born May 3, 1920 in Menominee the daughter of Anderew and Marie (Belland) Callari. She was employed for the KVP Paper Co., and she volunteered at Borgess Women's Center and Kalamazoo County Court House. She was a member of the St. Ambrose Catholic Church. Marjorie was united in marriage to William McCreery who preceded her in death on December 28, 1988. Surviving are 3 sons, Donald McCreery of Portage, Thomas McCreery of South Haven, Robert (Terrilyn) McCreery of Galesburg; 2 daughters, Kathleen McCreery and Sharon McCreery both of Parchment; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Charlene Abbott of Kalamazoo. She was preceded in death by a sister, LaVergne, and a sister in law, Donna. Friends are being received Friday at 10 - 11 AM at St. Ambrose Catholic Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM, with Rev. Fr. James O'Leary, Celebrant. Interment will be in Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Borgess Foundation or S.W. Michigan Cancer Center.
