Joseph Kuhse

Joseph Kuhse, of Charlotte, passed away Tuesday October 15, 2013 at home. Joe was born May 1, 1947 in Kalamazoo the son of Joseph and Elizabeth (Dekker) Kuhse. He was an Army veteran during the Vietnam War. Joe retired as a supervisor from General Motors and a member of the Charlotte American Legion. On October 29, 1966 in Battle Creek Joe was united in marriage to the former Linda Jacoby who survives. Also surviving are 2 sons, Michael (Erin) Kuhse of Augusta, Gregory (Torri) Kuhse of Bellville, IL; 1 daughter, Patricia (Brian) Spencer of Cedar Springs; 1 brother, (Thomas (Theresa) Kuhse of Richland; 2 sisters, Diane (Paul) Jordan of Kalamazoo, Nancy (Kevin) Bolen of Portage; 11 grandchildren; 16 nieces & nephews; 9 great-nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Lyke in 2011 and a nephew Justin Jordan in 2004. Friends are being received Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the Parchment Redmond Funeral Home, 2300 East “G” Ave. Parchment, MI 49004. (269) 349-7735.
