Michael Brian Bennett

Michael B. Bennett went to be with the Lord, Friday September 27, 2013 at Rose Arbor Hospice. Michael was born November 2, 1953 in Hillsdale, MI the son of Carl and Mary (Spinne) Bennett. He was a Vietnam veteran serving in the U.S. Navy. Michael was employed as a calibrations technician for Eaton Manufacturing. He loved the outdoors, fishing, camping, kayaking, tennis and enjoyed music. He was a member of Agape Christian Church in Kalamazoo. On June 16, 1979 in Kalamazoo Michael was united in marriage to the former Susan B. Smith, who survives. Also surviving are his mother, Mary Bennett of Vicksburg; son, Aaron Bennett of Austin, TX; 2 daughters, Heather (Isaac) Morehouse of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Laura (Jacob) Flumerfelt of Westerville, OH; 3 grandchildren, Nolan, Eden & Vienna Morehouse; 3 sisters, Michele (Paul) Dobson of Bowling Green, OH, Erin (Jack) Hoogendyk of Wausau, WI, Rachelle Bennett of Bloomington, IN; step mother, Kaye Bennett of Vicksburg; and many nieces and nephews. Friends are being received Wednesday from 6 until 8PM at the Redmond Funeral Home, 4100 S. Westnedge Ave. Kalamazoo, MI 49008. (269) 343-6156. Funeral Services will be held at Agape Christian Church, Kalamazoo, Thursday 11:30 AM with Pastor Ron Vestrand, Officiating. Interment will be in Ft. Custer National Cemetery.
