Steven James Coleman

Steven J. Coleman of Kalamazoo, passed away Thursday September 5, 2013 at Plainwell Pines Nursing Home. Steven was born, January 30, 1959 in Kalamazoo, the son of William and Dolores (Ferguson) Coleman. Steven was the owner of Crest Construction and Coleman Realty. He was a member of the Kalamazoo Board of Realtors and the Michigan Builders Association. He is survived by 2 sons, William Coleman of Kalamazoo and Nicholas Coleman of Gobles; 3 sisters, Diane Coleman of Rochester, NY Cathy Morrison of Salt Lake City, UT, Denise Coleman-Houge of Venice, FL; former wife Delana Smith of Martin. He was preceded in death by a son Joshua Coleman in 2005 and a brother, David Coleman. Friends will be received Saturday 1-3 PM at the Redmond Funeral Home, 4100 S. Westnedge Ave. Kalamazoo, MI 49008, (269) 343-6156, where services will be held at 3PM. Interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery.
