Eula Mae Powell

Eula Mae Powell of Kalamazoo, passed away Saturday August 10, 2013 at Rose Arbor Hospice. She was born March 12, 1932 in Tallahassee, MS the daughter of Anderson and Beatrice (McChristian) Boyd. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall Jehovah’s Witness Kalamazoo West. On Dec. 24, 1948 in Clarksdale, MS Eula was united in marriage to James W. Powell who survives. Also surviving are 3 sons, Jimmie (Sandra) Powell of Memphis, TN, Ricky (Eve) Powell of Paw Paw, Wayne (Seraph) Powell of Indianapolis IN; 8 daughters, Eula (Tommy) Johnson of Aurora, CO, Glenda (Ernest) Scott of Chicago,IL Betty (Chester) Murphy of Indianapolis, IN, Erma Powell of Kalamazoo, Mary Cash of Memphis, TN, Parlee (Junior) Hopson of Memphis, TN, Gloria Powell of Kalamazoo, Nannette (Melvin) Watts of Indianapolis, IN; 23 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her oldest child, James Powell Jr. and 17 brothers and sisters. Memorial services will be held Kingdom Hall West Kalamazoo Saturday Aug. 17, 2013 at 1pm.
