Robert James Lee

Mr. Robert James Lee passed away Monday, June 10, 2013 in Kalamazoo. Robert was born June 22, 1938 in Kalamazoo, the son of Fredrick and Dorothy (DeVru) Lee. Robert was a car detailer for DeNooyer Chevrolet and Gilmore Cadillac before his retirement. On April 28, 1962 in Kalamazoo, Robert was united in marriage to the former Juanita I. Hall, who passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2013. Surviving are a son, Jeffrey (Aimee) Lee, granddaughter Nicole Lee, great-granddaughter Kira Morgan, son-in-law Bill Matlock, and daughter-in-law Florence Beeman, all of Kalamazoo. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Janice Lee, and step-father Joseph Rapacz. Friends will be received Friday, June 14 from 11AM to 1PM at Redmond Funeral Home, 4100 S. Westnedge, Kalamazoo, where services for Robert and Juanita will follow at 1PM, Rev. James Dyke officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the ASPCA, Kalamazoo Humane Society, or to the family c/o the funeral home.
