Shirley F. Kob

Shirley F. Kob, passed away June 1, 2013. Shirley was born in Grand Rapids, on Dec. 12, 1926, the daughter of Ralph and Myrtle (McDonald) Ginther. She was a member of St, Joseph Catholic Church, St. Joseph Church choir, the Red Cross and was a Girl Scout Leader. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Stewart on Aug. 5, 2008, 2 sons: Jeffery and David. Shirley is survived by a daughter: Kathy (Claude) Thomas of Kalamazoo, son: Richard Kob and Andrea Stansberry of Texas, 5 grandchildren: Michael Kob; James (Tina) Martin; Jason (Angela) Martin, Michelle (Larry) Ashbaugh; Dean (Kristie) Strickland of Georgia and 10 great grandchildren, sister in law: Elaine Kob of Kalamazoo. There will be no visitation. Funeral Services have been held. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Joseph Church. Interment will be in Ft. Custer National Cemetery.
