Anne M. White

A life dedicated to family exemplifies the life of Anne M. White (born June 5, 1922 in Kalamazoo, MI) She was daughter to Anna (Magiera) and Wincenty Jancasz, sister to Joe, John, Frank, Lucia and Kate Althuis. She was Aunt Nanny to numerous nieces and nephews. Anne was united for 61 years in marriage to Don White (March 2, 1946). She was Mom to Donnie (Don) Schweiger, Kathy (Richard) Aldrich, and Jim White. What-Cha-Call-it… She was caring, generous and sometimes a source of laughter and funny antics to Grandchildren Zachary Schweiger, Colin Schweiger, Ben (Alissa) Aldrich, Sarah (Eddie) Ashwell, Justine (David) Bentz, and Vince Aldrich. She was a Great-Great Grandma to Ashley, Nicole, Breana, Jordyn, Zack, Anthony, Austin and Gavin. She also served as a surrogate Mom to a myriad of People. Anne Passed away and found peace with God on March 22, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don, 2007, son Jim, 2001, and brothers Joe, John, and sisters Lucia and Kate. Friends and family will be received Monday, March 25, 2013 From 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-7:00, with a Rosary service beginning at 7:00 at Redmond Funeral Home, 4100 S. Westnedge Ave., Kalamazoo, MI 49001 (269) 343-6156. Funeral services will be held, Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at 1:30pm at Fort Custer National Cemetery.
