Norma J. Bonhomme

Mrs. Norma J. Bonhomme passed away Monday March 18, 2013 in Kalamazoo. Norma was born December 22, 1935 in Dayton, OH, the daughter of Raymond and Mildred (Smith) Bernard. She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, and loved to read. On November 3, 1956, she married Robert Bonhomme, Sr., who survives. Also surviving are her children Jean (Bill) Wiborn, Joseph (Diane) Bonhomme, Robert, Jr. (Julie) Bonhomme, and Mary (Rob) Romig; eleven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren; siblings Jerry (Eleanor) Bernard and Eileen (Quentin) Meyers, and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Friday, March 22 from 2-4 and 6-8PM with a Scripture service at 7PM at Redmond Funeral Home, 4100 S. Westnedge, Kalamazoo. A memorial Mass will be Saturday, March 23 at 11AM at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 1150 W. Centre, Portage, Fr. Robert Creagan celebrant. Private interment will be in Ft. Custer National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kalamazoo Gospel Mission, the Arthritis Foundation, or Short Term Mission Support for Tim and Dani Keith, c/o Northbridge Church, 8824 Douglas Ave., Kalamazoo, MI 49009.
