Mark Joseph Brown

Mark J. Brown, of Kalamazoo, passed away Sunday, January 20 at his home. Mark was born February 1, 1952 in Kalamazoo, the son of Loren and Marie (Koller) Brown. He was an Eagle Scout and a competitor in swimming and bowling. He went to National Competition in Special Olympics. He was employed with Harding’s Market in Parchment. Everyone who knew him loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mark is survived by his brother, Thomas L. Brown of Conesus, NY, sister Carole May of Tonasket, WA, and many friends. There will be no visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, January 31, 2013 at 10:30AM at St. Augustine Cathedral, 542 W. Michigan, Kalamazoo, with Msgr. Thomas Martin, celebrant. Interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Kalamazoo. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Association of Retarded Citizens, c/o Homestead Group Home, 6191 N.
