Barbara J. Oisten

Barbara J. Oisten of Kalamazoo, Passed away Friday, January 18, 2013 at Rose Arbor Hospice. Barbara was born April 20, 1941 in Grand Rapids, MI, the daughter of Hubert and Mary Ann (Scalige) Redner. Barbara was a member of St. Monica Catholic Church. She retired as a buyer from American Energy Exchange. She was an avid reader and enjoyed all literature. Barbara was preceded in death by her father, Hubert, and by her son, Mark Edwards in 2012; Barbara is survived by her husband of 25 years, Herbert Oisten; her mother, Mary Ann Matecki; daughter, Joan Edwards; and four grandchildren: Mark, David, Jaymz and John.
