Mary Kuzyk

Passed away Sunday, December 30, 2012 at Borgess Medical Center, Kalamazoo. Mary was born March 16, 1920 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of John and Frances (Kuzma) Juzwiak. Mary graduated from Kalamazoo Central High School in 1939 and from Parsons Business College in Kalamazoo. She retired as a sales associate for J.C. Penny Co. On August 16, 1947 in Kalamazoo, Mary was united in marriage to Walter Kuzyk, who preceded her in death on Oct. 24, 2008. Surviving are a daughter, Barbara (M.K.) Tribbie of Fairfax Station, VA; sister, Bernice Bigelow of Kalamazoo and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Stanley Juzwiak in 1993 and a sister, Frances Phillips in 2011. Friends will be received Friday, January 4, 2013 from 9-11 AM at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 1150 W. Centre St., Portage, MI, with a Rosary at 10AM. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11AM in the Trinity Chapel. Interment will be in Ft. Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, MI.
